Jameson's 3rd Birthday

Jameson turned 3 on Dec. 28th. I can hardly believe he's 3! We had an impromptu party at my parents' house on his birthday. My brother and his fam were still in town from Utah and my other siblings and their fams were already going over that night to hang out so Sat night my mom decided that we should have a small party. (Thanks mom for getting the cake and everything ready) He had lots of fun hanging out with cousins. He was thrilled with all of his presents, but I only got a couple of pics, so here they are.
Opening presents. (This was his "Be Fast Book" from the Allens)Here he is with his "Star Wars Guy" outfit from Grandma & Grandpa Webb and his lightsaber from Mama & Daddy. He wore it proudly and happily fought cousins all night.Here he is blowing out the candles all by himself for the first time. Way to go little man! We love you so much!

Since I use this as our family journal I'm going to write a few things that you can, but don't have to read. It's mostly for me to have written down.

Jameson is so excited to be 3 so he can go to Sunbeams. We've been trying to get him ready so he won't be a total terror when he goes in. (I'm terrified for his poor Sunbeam teachers the Ashbys.) He's SO excited to be going into Sunbeams. We've been working on what we say in our prayers. We tell him that to think of things he loves and thank Heavenly Father for them. Lately he's "thankful for Sunbeams" in every prayer. It's just so cute. So far he doesn't seem to have given them any major fits, except for asking to go to the potty every 5 mins. and telling his teachers "my name not Jameson, it's Transformer" the first day, and only responding when being called Transformer. (Thanks Papa for starting that one :) He's such a little character. He's full of energy and determination. (Wonder where he got that from :) He's tiny, but bursting with personality. He's finally interested in having other people understand what he's saying, (thankfully). He loves to sing songs. He loves "I Am a Child of God", "Teach Me to Walk in the Light", "Jesus Wants me for a Sunbeam", "Pork & Beans" (by Weazer, thank you daddy) and sometimes he makes up his own songs. He likes to "be silly". He is a very sweet boy. He loves to tickle and play, and LOVES to "Nacho". He is great at giving hugs and kisses and says that he and I (mama) are "best friends". I love that little boy and can't image how my life would be different if he were not here. I am so grateful that Heavenly Father has entrusted him to me for now, and hope that I can teach him all the things he needs to learn so he can be righteous and happy. I love you Jameson boy!
