Laundry issues
I don't know how many of you have this problem, but my washer and dryer are outside my house. I'm dying to meet the brainiac that came up with that idea. Aside from the obvious, that going in and out all day is a hassle, and the Arizona hazard that it's five thousand degrees outside in the summer, we've discovered a whole new level of inconvenience today. As I've mentioned before, I watch my nephew Dylan (who's 3) a couple of days a week. I use those days as my laundry days because I'm not daring enough to try to take 3 boys anywhere. Today as I stepped out to switch over some laundry Dylan decided it would be fun to close the door and LOCK ME OUT! Needless to say there was panic, and then lots of yelling at the door to get him to unlock it while he laughed and thought it was so funny on the other side. After a few minutes he finally did unlock it and let me in. When I tried to tell him how dangerous that was, he lied to me and said Alex did it. That obviously resulted in a, "you're going to time out for 2 hours" kind of time out. So I'd just like to thank the brainiac that thought up the idea to put the laundry facilities outside the house, and curse them with a 3 year old!

Oh my goodness!!! This is the very reason I have a spare key stashed outside. I would have been SOOOOO mad! The laughing would have pushed me over the edge, he is lucky all he got was a two hour time out.
I couldn't help but laugh, but I would have been ticked if it were me! Hang in there!
The brainiac needs to go back to school, or should have never passed to become an architect. Sorry you had one of "those" days. Maybe you'll laugh in about it in a decade, or when you have laundry inside the house! Good luck with 3 little boys running crazy!
We have to go outside to get to out washer and dryer too. I would freak out if that happened to me! I'm glad he was able to unlock the door and let you back in:)
Hey, I found Jason Goats!

Oh, I would hate to have the laundry outside! The boys locked me out back once, and our gate is locked with a padlock so I was stuck in the backyard. It's scary to be locked out and not be able to get to the kids!
I am sooooo sorry!!! Who's obnoxious kid would do something like that????? You are a saint for being Dylan's second Mom. Thank you, thank you, thank you! :)
Oh no! My first apartment had the washer and dryer outside too! Talk about an inconvenience when your undies are in the dryer and you have to run out in a towel!! Not fun, and I am sorry that the little monster locked you out! Maybe its time for a hide-a-key! Kameron had to learn his lesson the hard way when Porter locked him out and I wasnt home...and Porter couldnt unlock the door. haha. Atleast you got a funny memory out of it.
