Halloween Festivities

I'm happy to say we finally got well enough just in time to participate in some fun Halloween festivities. Our little Jedi "Manikin Skywalker"Our Cute little pirate.
Alex and I were sick for our ward's trunk or treat, but Daddy took Jameson and they had so much fun. Jameson loved showing all of his Jedi costume and seeing all of his friends in their costumes.
Jameson loved using "the force" on everyone.
With fellow Jedi Tyler Fosburgh
With our friends & fellow Jedi (and his former nursery teachers) Scott & Suzanne O'dell & baby Tess (Yoda)
Protecting his & Alex's girlfriends Bailey & Olivia Webb
Fighting his favorite ninja in the ward Nathan Harris (I swear he is exactly what Jameson will be like when he's older)
On Friday they had a Halloween party at Jameson's preschool. The kids were so excited to show off their costumes. They were adorable.
Here's Jameson with his friend Rex & cousin Isaac.
The whole class about to enjoy some treats.
The whole class.
On Halloween we got the boys dressed up and went to a block party in Klint's brother Richard's neighborhood. Then we met up with my brother Scott & his fam at their tri-ward trunk or treat.
It was fun for the boys to play games and especially see their cousins. The many looks of our little pirate. In the end her refused to wear anything on his head.
Jameson loved his Jedi costume. It was so fun to see him really understand Halloween for the first time. It made it really fun for all of us.
Jameson loved fighting everyone and using the force on them. Here he is taking down Daddy.
I'm pretty sure he's thinking," Okay, enough pictures already."
Little cousin Eva was about the cutest little ball of pink fluff I've ever seen. The boys thought she was so funny.
As part of the trunk or treat some one had set up a projector and was showing a Halloween Charlie Brown movie. Jameson settled in with some popcorn some one else was giving out and we set for the night.

Dear Swin Flu

Dear Swine Flu,
Please leave my little family alone. I know you probably thought it would be lots of fun to come home from work with Daddy to meet the rest of the family, but none of us have enjoyed the acquaintance at all. It has lead me to have 3 consecutive, completely sleepless nights (one for me & one for each child) & there is a good chance there are more on the way as you have a serious grip on my poor little Jameson. We now know you're here, we have put up with you, but we are really quite ready for you to be gone. My heart just can't take the pathetic little coughs and fevered, lethargic little boys any longer. Thanks to our wonderful doctor we now have the drugs and will chase you away with all our might. So please just go without any more fight.
Thank you,
Nurse/Snuggler/Pill Pusher (thank you Grandpa Bird)/Rock-A-Bye Singer/Mama

Cousin Isaac's Birthday

This week was my nephew Isaac's 3rd birthday. My kids have become much closer to my sister Stacy's kids since school started. Jameson attends Stacy's preschool 3 days a week & I watch her boys while she teaches so the boys spend tons of time together lately. They LOVE each other. The boys were so excited to celebrate Isaac's 3rd birthday at Peter Piper's Pizza. They had a blast. There was lots of playing, singing, and not much eating. Here are the pics of them having a ton of fun together. Jameson singing Happy Birthday to Isaac for about the 10th time.

The cute lion cake Stacy made. I don't know how none of that Martha Stewart rubbed off on me like it did all of my sisters.

Here are Alex & Trevor sporting their birthday hats & waiting as patiently as they could for their cake. No trouble getting these two to eat. If only we could figure out how to get their love of food to rub off on their brothers.

Cute cousins. Can you tell these two love each other or what? They kept getting so excited they'd just reach over and give each other a big squeeze which also eventually led to some good old fashioned wrestle-mania. I love to see these boys have such good friends in their cousins. We're so lucky to be able to be so close to family.

Trying New Things

I still can't get my children to eat anything, but the boys have found a few new interests lately.
Getting to the gym since Jameson started preschool has been pretty much impossible, so I've been trying to use my trusty work-out & yoga dvds. Jameson loves to do "exercise" with me. Alex, on the other hand, is impossible to do exercise around, especially yoga. He thinks I'm the world's funniest jungle gym when I'm trying to do yoga poses. Jameson has really taken to doing yoga. Here he is following the yoga dvd all by himself after I left the room. We went to Peter Piper Pizza this week to celebrate my nephew Isaac's birthday. While Jameson & Issac played ski-ball and other games the dads took the little boys on this small merry-go-round ride. Klint & Derek walked alongside Alex & Trevor as they rode so they wouldn't fall off. If you look closely at Alex's face you can tell he was pretty much terrified of it. We had to laugh.Alex's has recently discovered people's hair. He likes to see how everything (especially food) looks in his hair and really wants to use Daddy's hair product. I can usually catch him before he gets the product open, but not tonight. Klint went in to find Alex was using his hair product very liberally. Good thing he's such a cutie! How can you ever get mad at this cute smile. Here is Alex finding that his chocolate pie is also a wonderful hair product & face cream.
Daddy helped him finish up the artwork by making sure every section of his face was completely covered.

Simple Pleasures

I don't think I've put much random cuteness on lately so here it goes. I really just love to enjoy my kiddos. Especially seeing them enjoy the little things that make them happy. Alex has recently discovered that my phone is very entertaining whether he's actually talking to some one who is real or just pretending. This was one of his recent pretend phone calls. They can last for hours.
Since the weather has been so nice we've been outside more & the boys have been loving getting to see more of Nick (our dog who does nothing but lie in the dirt in the summer but perks up once it starts to cool off). They especially love to take him on walks. They now think Nick is a good friend & I often catch them feeding him cracker or sippies over the gate. The other day I got out of the shower to find that Jameson and Nick were having a nice little chat. I wonder how long Nick had been sitting there listening about Transformers & Star Wars.

Of course there is nothing better for my little Jameson than some good 'ole Transformer time.

Jameson likes to make people laugh and especially likes making funny face. I catch him making them in the mirror often lately. They're adorable!

Today I got out of the shower, (I know, a lot happens when I'm in the shower, but it's the only 10 mins a day I get to myself) to find my sweet little boys reading scriptures together. (our newest family goal is to not miss a day) It's moments like these I learn that they are actually picking up some of the good things we do. I got a quick video of it. Not sure it's really doctrinally correct, but it sure was cute. Enjoy!

Quick Trip to Snowflake

This weekend I only had one client on my books for Sat, so we decided to take a quick overnight trip to Snowflake to see Klint's parents. (Thanks to my one Sat client Shayia for moving to Fri so the trip was possible. You're the best!) It was a quick, but fun trip. We thought the weather was so wonderful, even though it was gusting to what we guessed was about 50mph, so we spent as much time with the boys outside running & playing as we could. It was also fun for the kiddos to have lots of one-on-one time with Grandma & Grandpa Webb. We even got to see Klint's Grandparents while we were there, which is always such a special treat. Here are a few pics I took while we were there.
Grandpa Webb always takes the boys out to feed the horses with him while we're there. The boys love it. Here's Klint taking the boys to see the horses. (For those of you who have heard Jameson pray this is the Snuffy & Chance he's referring to in every prayer)Jameson wasn't a bit scared to pick up bits of hay and feed it to Snuffy & Chance. Alex took a little more warming up, but eventually got comfortable with it & had lots of fun "feeding" them. It really wasn't cold during the day, but Jameson & Alex demanded that they wear their jackets because the wind was blowing so hard or as Jameson said "because it's too cold". They must be little desert rats. Jameson is really into soccer right now. (Don't know where that came from) Here he is trying his best soccer moves even in the 50mph winds. Alex didn't like the wind quite so much, but he sure looked cute. The pic on the right is Alex saying his newest word "Eeewwwww" which he says if something looks funny or if he sees any type of bug even momentarily. I just think it's such a darn cute face when he says it.
