Kids are so entertaining.

Jameson was cracking me up today. They were really tired driving home from Notations today, but I was trying to keep them awake so they would take a nap when we got home. I started asking them questions. My favorite series of questions went like this.
Mama: Jameson what does a red light mean?
Jameson: Stop (duh mom)
Mama: What does green mean?
Jameson: Go!
Mama: What does yellow mean?
Jameson: CRAAAAASH!!!!
He & Alex thought they were hilarious & they laughed & laughed and then kept asking & answering "the yellow question" the rest of the way home. I think they were a little slap happy, but it was so much fun. I love that we are able to have so much fun together. They are so much fun!

Our little Alex is becoming quite the musician these days. Some people may (and when they come to my house do) not love the constant banging they hear, but I love it! It makes me so happy to see him make "dums" or drums out of anything he can use for a drum or a drumstick. Above is the drum set he put together for himself and enjoyed all Sun evening. Having grown up with drummers constantly drumming on everything from the dinner table, to the floor, to the steering wheel, I love it. I hope & encourage that he keeps it up. To me, it makes it feel like a real home. Now if we could only convince him that his brother's head is not a good thing to use as a drum.

Another cute moment. Yesterday Klint called to say that he was coming home from work. I made the mistake of telling the boys that Daddy was coming home as soon as I got off the phone. For the next ten minutes this is how the boys & the dog sat.Jameson had his ear pressed up against the garage door listening for Daddy to open the garage, while Alex looked on and waited for Jameson to tell him that Daddy was actually home. The dog even paced in the small hallway waiting for Daddy. I just thought it was too cute.
