Day 5 - Cozumel

Day 5 we woke up in Cozumel. Being with the seasoned cruisers was definitely a bonus here. They have been here before so they new just what to do. We split the cost of a rental car and headed out to a little restuarant/bar right on the water called Mr. Sanchos. They had a beach full of chairs, & tables. They had everything you could want. They had a few little shops so if you wanted to bargain you could, they had a little area where you could get a massage on the beach (I was very tempted, but I opted for something better, more to come on that), and they had all kinds of water activities you could do. We bought Klint some goggles so he could look for some fish & didn't have to pay for snorkeling equipment rental, ordered my virgin strawberry daiquiri & some nachos & settled in for a relaxing day on the beach. It was so beautiful.
Here we are at Mr. Sanchos

Here's Em & Eric
Rik & Heidi
Here are Klint's pics of the fish he saw.

After taking a nice nap on the beach & Klint playing in the water & chasing fish around we started watching these boats taking people around parasailing. Parasailing is something that I've always wanted to do. After mentioning that to Klint & then watching them for a while, Klint decided we had to do it, so we headed off to check it out & decided to do it. We were the only people on our boat & the guys that took us out were so nice & offered to keep one of our cameras on the boat & take pictures of us. Here they are.
Here is the guys getting it ready for us. The parasail was huge.We couldn't get over how amazingly blue the water was.We could see our cruise ship in the distance while we were up there. It's kinda hard to see, but it's the big white thing way in the back. This is Mr. Sanchos from the airThis is the picture Emily took of us while sitting on their chairs at Mr. Sanchos.I thought this was cool that it showed how far out from the boat we were.We were amazed at how quiet & peaceful it was. We couldn't even really hear the boat's engine while we were up there. I loved it and we're so glad we did it. It was amazing! After a little shopping we decided to head back to the boat. I just had to show the other cruise ship we were docked next to. It was crazy. It was about 8 stories tall, but it looked ridiculously small next to our ship. That night at the show our cruise director (Abe, who was awesome and hilarious) even made a joke about it. He said when he'd walked outside and seen it he thought "Awwww, the Liberty had a baby". That's just how it looked & we laughed about it for the rest of the trip. Did I say we loved our ship :)
