Build-a-Bear

Warning: It's long, but worth reading if you want.
For Jameson's birthday Grammy & Papa & Grandpa Bird gave him a special birthday trip with them to Build-a-Bear to make a special birthday bear. We finally got everyone healthy enough and our schedules together so we could go on Wed. night. It was so much fun. My parents reminded him of it Tues when they watched him (while I was working) and when I got home from work he kept telling me "gonna do special birthday bear with Grammy & Papa". He was so excited. I told him he had to go to bed because it wasn't until tomorrow, and of coarse he did, but woke up at 6am Wed. morning asking if it was time for "special birthday bear". Poor kid had to wait until 6pm when daddy got home so he could come with us. By the time we got there he was so excited. He wanted everything he saw. Eventually we got him to understand he had to pick something and once he started picking what he wanted there was absolutely no changing his mind. Here are the pics, with the play-by-play of the adventure. Here he is picking the panda bear (thanks to his love of the movie Kung Fu Panda)He already loved his panda and he wasn't even stuffed yet. Here he is giving panda's heart a kiss so he's full of love. Mama, Daddy, Grammy & Papa also got to put special hearts in for Jameson's b-day so panda's bursting with love. Grammy & Papa also put a special sound in panda.

Jameson got to push the pedal to get panda stuffed. Then Grammy & Papa & Jameson got to give panda a "tubby so he be fluffy".Then they picked out some clothes. Once again, he knew just what he wanted. No matter what else we showed him it had to be a Spiderman outfit for panda. They Grammy & Jameson got him dressed. During this picture Jameson was saying "look at his silly, fluffy little tail."Here he is showing "Spiderman Panda" to everyone in the store. Then they picked a name together and made a birth certificate for him. Jameson chose the name Peter Parker Panda/Spiderman.Then they gave panda a house to live in and Jameson carried that thing through the mall all by himself even though it was as big as he was. It was so cute.

Of coarse on the way out Jameson had to take a ride on the escalator with Grammy & Papa, but they went down and didn't come back up so I went to find out what happened and found they were making a little stop. If you see a See's you can't just walk by and not stop to get a free chocolate :) at least not if you're in our family.

Thanks for the special birthday adventure. It was so fun to do together.

Jameson loves Panda whether he's "Spiderman" or "fluffy" (not dress as Spiderman). The special sound they put in panda says "(Papa)Je t'aime Jameson. (Grammy) That means Grammy & Papa love you Jameson". It's so cute and Jameson LOVES to hear "what Spiderman say" so he pushed it over and over and over again all the way home and the rest of the night. It might have been annoying except that each time the message finished Jameson would respond by saying, "Yeah", "yup", "good", "Grammy & Papa love me", or my personal favorite "That make me so happy". It was so cute and it's such a special memory for him. Thanks Grammy & Papa! We love you!

My favorite was the names he gave his bear Peter Parker Panda!:)

So precious, that he knows his Grandma and Grandpa love him!
That was the whole point, I'm sure.
