Sometimes between Facebook & the Blog I'm never sure what I've posted where, but I just realized I totally missed putting this on the blog and it is WAY to important to be missed.
A few times throughout their mission my parents travel to South Africa. They describe it to us as being "basically like the US." They love the chance to pick up a few things and do something they can't do from the DR Congo.....mail things. They can neither receive nor send mail on their mission. There just isn't the infrastructure that we're used to and mail just gets lost in the shuffle. It would just never get where it's supposed to go. So obviously we were VERY excited to receive a postcard from Grammy & Papa from their trip to South Africa. The boys loved it and they've looked at it over and over again. It now has a permanent place on our refrigerator. Here are my happy little boys with their precious postcard. Thanks for making the extra effort Grammy & Papa!

That is crazy that they can't send mail. I just now got your message on fb about where the kid is going. I think I heard wrong and is not her son but her nephew. If I remember to ask her the next time I see her I will let you know. I didn't realize there were two missions.
