Fall Break - Outing 3 - Vertuccio Farms

For the last day of Fall Break we had to do something. My sister Stacy invited us to go to Vertuccio Farms with she & her boys Isaac & Trevor so of course we said yes. We'd never been there before & it was SO much fun. It was just the right size and everything was perfectly suited to the age of my boys. Be prepared for picture overload. Here are Jameson & Alex showing off their muscles.
This isn't a great picture, but the boys LOVED this game & kept going back to play it.
Here are the 4 boys riding "the train"
The boys had fun racing through the hay maze.
Isaac & Jameson - King of the Mountain.
It is a farm so we loved looking at all the animals too. The boys loved these "baby pigs". The boys were so funny. Every time we got to an animal the boys would start "talking" to the animals by oinking, moo -ing, etc. The really funny part was that they didn't just do it a couple of times, they would do it for a straight 1 mins.
Here are the boys on the teeter totter. I think it was their first time & they had fun being able to do it all together.
Even the moms took a turn on the teeter totter. Stacy thought it was funny to try to not let me come back down.
Here are all of our cute boys.
Here are my cute brothers.
They had a little game to try to find 6 animal tracks in the corn maze and they would earn a "badge" (sticker). We were stuck in that corn maze for a long time & we only found 4! The people took pity on our boys & gave them a sticker anyway. The boys thought it was fun to be an "agent".
They had these pedal cars. They were a little big for my boys short legs so I rode them around the track a couple of times, but it was hard & soon I had to give up.
They still wanted to ride. Jameson climbed on & quickly got frustrated that he couldn't reach the pedals. Without even being asked Alex got behind & started pushing. I was so touched that he came up with the idea to do that for his brother without being prompted. He's such a sweet little boy.
Here they are racing Isaac & Trevor. (Isaac could reach the pedals)
After a while Jameson got off & pushed Alex for a while. It was so wonderful to see my boys serving each other without being asked even if it's in such a small way.
After a couple of hours they got a little tired.
These cousins sure love each other. They had to give one last "huggle" before we left.
We let each boy pick out a pumpkin to buy.
It was such a fun day. Thanks Stacy & boys for taking us.

I loved seeing your fun outings last week. I could just see the joy in the boys faces at each place. You sure did use your vacation well. Wish I'd have seen it in person, but I'm so happy that your put it all on your blog. Thanks.

We just went to a farm with our little preschool group. It was fun. I really like the idea that you can measure each year. It looks like you had a ton of fun.
