Sleep Patterns

We don't get much sleep, but I've noticed something funny about my boys and sleep, (and not just that they don't want me to get much of it.) The other day I went in to wake them up to take them to a babysitter while I went to work and this is what I found. It's hard to tell, but Jameson had squeezed 7 stuffed animals into his toddler bed with him. He's always been one of those kids that wouldn't go to sleep without some stuffed animals, but I think it might have gotten a little out of hand.
Alex, on the other hand, I've discovered has an obsession with blankets. He's only 1, yet when I went in to wake him this is what I found. He had somehow gotten 4 blankets into bed with him. I just think it's funny because lately it seems Klint and I can hardly sleep with the other one in our bed, and our children can't sleep without everything they own crammed into their tiny beds.
In honor of Grandpa Bird I had to document how Alex looked when he woke up. This is what Grandpa's hair always looked like when he woke up in the morning when we had sleepovers at their house growing up. It's called the "struck by lightning" look. Those great Grandpa sayings just never leave us.

Cute post. Hudson is the same way. I think he has about 4 cars, 5 trains, 4 stuffed animals, and 2 blankets in is bed with him right now! :)

Those boys are so stinkin cute! That is so funny they both like to have stuff in bed with them, that would drive me nuts!

Our Riley can't seem to sleep unless she has about every stuffed animal she owns in bed with her. Needless to say she has a sliver of the bed and the stuffed animals take up the rest.

That is so cute! I used to put a million dolls and stuffed animals in my bed too! They all ended up on the floor by the time I woke up though...
