Today is Klint & my 5th anniversary. I can hardly believe that it's been 5 years, yet sometimes I can hardly believe it's
only been 5 years. I can hardly remember what life was like before Klint was in it, yet, I can't believe how much our lives have changed over the last 5 years. I never thought we'd be so busy for the first 5 years of marriage, but I'm so glad we have. I'm glad that Klint is almost finished with school. Being so busy with school right now (for those who've been following, he's doing another surgery rotation) we don't really have time to celebrate right now, so I decided that I'm going to just consider our first 5 years of marriage our "school years" and our next 5 will be the years where we really get to start our life together. Though we have pretty much been slaves to school I wouldn't have done it any other way, and I'm proud of Klint for stepping up and taking school so seriously and taking so much school on at one time. After we got married I told Klint we were going to be in school forever and we needed to just do what it took to get it done quickly. He had to take 16-18 credits (or more) a semester so he could get done quickly, and until Jameson was born I worked 2 jobs. It was hard, but I'm so glad we made the decision to do what it takes to get it done. Klint has worked REALLY hard at school these last 5 years. I'm so glad he's crammed it in to these first 5 years so we can move into the "family life" phase of our life. I never thought we'd have 2 kids in less than 5 years either, but I guess the Lord I needed something to keep me busy while Klint was gone doing school all the time :) In all honestly I'm glad we've had our boys to bring us so much joy and laughter throughout these "school years". Even though it will be a nice accomplishment to be done with school, our boys are DEFINITELY the best thing we've gotten out of this last 5 years. Though I never planned things this way, I wouldn't want them any other way. I love you Klint. Here are a few pics of our "school life".
