Our Imaginary Farm

As I've mentioned before Jameson has recently started having imaginary friends. So far we have a house full of imaginary animals, but no imaginary people. I'm not sure yet if I should be concerned about that or not. This morning Jameson was playing with all his "friends" or imaginary animals when he asked me to take pictures of them. It was just too cute, so I had to document it. Here are his imaginary friends. Here's the original, Hokie-wawa sitting next to him where he's pointing. We have learned Hokie-wawa is a " boy doggy" and a Chihuahua. See previous post "Hokie-wawa" for his origin. This is "Kitty". Kitty is always carried this way and often sleeps in Jameson's bed. Kitty doesn't have another name, it's just plain Kitty. Our neighbor has a ton of cats so he sees them often roaming around. We think this is where he got the idea for a kitty as an imaginary friend. Here's our latest addition. This is his "pinny pig" (ginnie pig) named Carol-Leah. She is a girl and lives in this plastic tub. He carries it around all the time and sometimes takes her out to pet and play with her. She also says "squeak, squeak". This one came from a family in our ward who has ginnie pigs. He is obsessed with the kids in the family Katie (12) and Nathan (I think he's 9). Katie has babysit him a few times, and they watched the boys for me at their house while my Grandpa was sick, so he got to play with their ginnie pigs shortly after they got them.

Whatever keeps em busy:) I think that is so cute though. You'll have to tell him about it when he gets older, I'm sure he will get a kick out of it.

That's great! I miss that kid. Finn has a similar obsession with things fictional. Today he insisted that Kung Fu Panda say the family prayer.

That is so cute!! How fun to have a whole bunch of pets - and look on the bright side....you don't have to clean up after them! That is the kind of pet to have!
