Well our 4 months of having Grammy & Papa home sure have gone by fast. We're so grateful for all the fun things we've been able to do with them (Legoland, the Beach, Wii bowling, dinners together) & all the things they've been able to be here for (Jameson's talk in Primary, Preschool Graduation), but the time has come for us to say our goodbyes again. This time we decided we wanted to send a little bit of us with them so we found these recordable books we picked up a couple. I gave one to Grammy & Papa to record for the boys and I helped the boys record one for Grammy & Papa to take with them. A couple of days before they left they came to our house for the last time. The boys gave their book to Grammy & Papa & Grammy & Papa gave the one they did to the boys. It was a surprise to all of them & they were all very happy. As u can imagine there were a few tears shed. The boys read the book all the time &
love to hear Grammy & Papa tell them they love them. Here they are when we exchanged them, reading them for the first time.
The night before Mom & Dad headed to UT for their Mission Pres. Seminar we had one last family dinner. It's always fun for my family to just hang out and have fun together. Here are the pics from that night.

These grand kids don't like their Grammy & Papa at all. (note the sarcasm) They sure are lucky kiddos to have such wonderful, attentive, and loving grandparents.
We had to do a last measure on Grammy's growth chart so we can see how much the kids have grown while they're gone.
Then the kiddos that were there (we were missing Ryan's fam who lives in UT, Marvin's girls who were with their Mom, and Rachael who was at girls camp, and Scott's kids who were exhausted & had long since gone to bed) These kids sang Nephi's Courage for Grammy & Papa as a goodbye to them.
Then everyone gave their hugs and said their goodbyes.

While it's always hard to see them go knowing how much we will miss them, we wouldn't want them to be doing anything else right now than serving the Lord where He wants them. We love you Grammy & Papa! Thanks for being such great examples to us all.

As much as I hate the leaving, I loved seeing us together. Thank you for all the time you made for us in your lives while we were home. We treasure every minute. We love you.
