Cow Appreciation Day

This Fri. was "Cow Appreciation Day" at Chick-fil-a. If you dress like a cow they'll give you a free meal. It's really fun so we just have to do it every year. Since it's more fun to go with some one else & Chick-fil-a is right next to my sister Stacy's house we decided we'd go together. We drew "spots" & let the boys color them whatever color they wanted. Jameson wanted to be a green cow (his new favorite color), Alex wanted to be a purple cow, Isaac was a black cow & I'm not sure what color Trevor was because he wouldn't keep his spots on. They wanted stops on their faces too so I put them on with eyeliner. I think they turned out the cutest little cows I've ever seen. They were even cuter because they were so excited they kept running around the house & looking in the mirror while doing the loudest "mooooo" they could. We could hardly get them to stop for a pic. Here they are. Once we got to Chick-fil-a and settled in to eat the "big cow" came out to greet people. He was so cute & dressed as a firefighter.
Unfortunately this is the reaction "the cow" got from our party.
Isaac & Jameson could handle the cow from afar, but Trevor & especially Alex wanted him gone. Alex was crying, asking to go home & his whole body was literally shaking. It was so sad. I couldn't get him to eat a bite or even look away cause he was terrified even if the cow was on the complete other side of the restaurant. He is still talking about "the cow". He says "I saw da cow and I scared".
They really did have a good time, and I may be a little prejudice, but I think we had the cutest little cows there.
