This past weekend we took our annual trip to Snowflake for the 24th of July/Pioneer Days festivities. This year was also Klint's 10 year high school reunion. (I know, isn't he such a young one) I didn't take any pics at the reunion, but we did go & Klint had a good time seeing lots of people he hasn't seen for a long time. Then Sat morning we started things day off at the parade. There weren't very many of us this year since everyone but us, Kody, Richard, Joele, & Jason (& fams) are the only ones living in the state anymore. Richard didn't come & Jason went out of town so we didn't see them, but Kam & Sarah were able to come Texas so it was fun to see them. Here's our crew for the parade.
It was Joele's 20 year reunion so her kiddos sat with us while she rode on her reunion float. Our boys were so happy to have more kids to sit with and get candy with.

They did such a great job. Grandpa/Great- Grandpa Webb road on the float again this year. It's always so cute to see Grandpa Webb riding on the float waving at everyone. The kids all had a good time watching the parade, but some of the floats & things like the fire trucks were really loud which kinda freaked my boys out. Gave us all a good laugh.
Luckily Alex had Grandpa to sit with to make him feel better when he got scared. He LOVES "Gwanpa".
This year there were a TON of mascots which, if you've ready my earlier post about the chick-fil-a cow, you know my kids, especially Alex, are terrified of. We'd see one of these....

The 24th was so fun!! We were up there too - and I actually got to judge the parade! I loved that float!! I'm glad you guys had fun too!
oh my gosh, bentley looks drunk in that picture lol! too funny. we had a blast, what a great time! so glad that you guys were there to share it with us.

That seriously made my eyes water...we miss you guys so much. This was the 1st year ever I haven't been home for the 24th...sad times.

Hey- my brother-in-law was in that parade, he drove the big red wagon with a team of horses. We almost went up, but have already been up there twice this summer and we're going up again for the corn festival in September. It was fun to see the pictures, thanks for sharing.
