Because Mother's Day is on Sun mine started on Sat night. Klint took the boys on "a secret outing" & left me at home alone for about an hour. It was so nice to relax and watch some tv that was not a cartoon. When they got home the boys walked in the door each carrying flowers & singing "Happy Mother's Day to you" (which is happy birthday except they say mother's day in place of birthday) They were adorable. Then today, I woke up to them singing it again & bringing me a necklace & headbands they had picked out themselves & a card they worked on with Daddy. At church Jameson sang with the Primary during sacrament meeting. He folded his arms & walked right up on the stand, found a spot right up front (where the stand came up to his chin) then he found me & smiled & waved them folded his arms setting them on the front of the stand so all we could see were his little eyes while he sang. When he came & sat back down he had a huge smile on his face & gave me a big hug. He was so proud of himself. After church we were able to talk to my mom on Skype. It was a pretty bad connection, but we were happy to be able to say Happy Mother's day & Jameson sang his "Happy Mother's Day to you " song & I told them about his singing in church with the primary. It took about 10 calls to get all that in so we gave up after that, but we were happy we got to say hi. After that it was a low key day filled with lots of "Special Mother's Day" pictures & cards drawn for me. Each time Jameson gave me something he sang "Happy Mother's Day to you" & every time Alex heard it being sung he ran over & got the flowers he had picked out for me & gave them to me again saying "Happy Mudders Day, Mama. I love you". It was adorable. He must have given them to me at least 10 times & was so excited each time. I never got tired of it. I just love the stage my boys are in right now. They love to draw pictures for people & give people things to make them happy. It made for the best Mother's Days ever.

This was my favorite card that Jameson made me for Mother's Day. He made it at preschool on Fri & couldn't wait until Sun to give it to me. He was so proud of it. He picked out the flower to glue on it & the "MOM" was spelled with finger painting. (His teacher, my sister Stacy, said he was sure to pick the ones that were yellow & not pink. I was so proud) On the inside she had a paper she glued in & she had them finish the sentence. She said it was the cutest one & not at all what she had expected from him. It was so sweet it almost brought me to tears. Here's the inside of his card.
