Spring Break

Last week was Jameson's first Spring Break. I wanted to try to make it fun so here are a few things we did.
We took many trips to the park. Some were by ourselves & some were with cousins Isaac & Trevor. I didn't take my camera most of the times we went, & when I did bring it they spent most of the time running around & playing so much I couldn't get any pictures. This is the only one I got that turned out. Alex loved climbing up & rolling his car down the slide & then sliding down after it.

Of course there was a whole lot of "wock tar" played by Alex. I swear the only time he doesn't have that guitar on is when he's playing the drums, when we're out running around, or when he's sleeping and that's just because I make him take it off. Here are some of his rock star poses.

Jameson spent lots of time using his imagination. He's so full of imagination. I just love to see what he comes up with, especially because I don't/never have had any imagination. Here he is looking for animals with some toy binoculars while pretending to be "Bob the Builder" with the tool belt on. What makes it even better is that the "tool belt" he's using is actually the dog collar for our 10lb. toy poodle. I about died laughing.

And of course we had to watch some movies. Jameson wanted to watch Transformers every day & Alex wanted to watch the "Yo Gabba Gabba Aquabats" episode over & over & OVER again a hundred times a day. Here's Jameson watching Bumblebee.
It was fun, but I think we really wore ourselves out. When we sat down to watch a movie on that Thurs Alex crashed out like this. It was too cute.
We also took a trip to the zoo with Aunt Stacy & her boys Isaac & Trevor. They had a great time. They were being so silly together & once they started to get tired they got a little slap happy. They decided to jumping was a lot more fun that looking at the animals. They were totally crazy. I especially love how when Alex jumps his feet never leave the ground. They loved the jumpfest until the hill they were on started to get the better of them & the scraped knees began. Jameson has, however, been proud to show off his scraped knees to every one since then. Here's the video of the jumpfest.
