Grateful Dad's Farewell Tour

Sat night my dad's band "The Grateful Dad's" got together for one last gig before my parents leave for their mission this week. The put the word out to our stake and they had a pretty good turn out. It was really fun. Of course we were the wildest fans there since we brought all of our kids, but those kiddos are the band's biggest fans and we couldn't keep them away. It was so much fun. Here are some pics from the night.

The Grateful Dad's - Gary Richardson, Don Burchette, Brent Jameson (dad), Frank Paxton, & Kent CataniMy dad was the drummer, sang a few songs while playing the drums, (really hard), and played acoustic guitar while singing on a couple of songs. I love to see my dad having so much fun. Most people don't even know he does most of those things.

Here are some of the band's biggest fans.

Chandler, Jameson & Isaac

Harley, Tatum, & Shelby (Emily's girls) waving to Papa as he plays.

Cute little Eva decked out in her party clothes.

It was a little loud for Alex so he sat on Klint or my lap all night, but no matter how scared or tired he was, he was always the first to start clapping when a song was over. He clapped after EVERY song. It was so cute.

The dancing queens having a blast. They literally danced/ran around all night with cousins. They come by it honestly. Here's their Mama showing off her best moves :)

Go Emily!

It sure has been fun for us to go to these shows. We're gonna miss the band, but we're glad it's going away for a good reason.

Great pictures! (I may have to steal some if mine turned out blurry.)

That's so awesome...I can see Wes doing something like that in 30 years.
