Christmas in July

As I've mentioned before, I like to let my kids get a toy/something new (once they've earned it) in the middle of the year because their birthdays are so close to Christmas, and that's a long time to wait for anything new. Well, yesterday was the day. Jameson has been working on being a little more independent in some areas, (getting dressed, taking a bath, keeping his toys cleaned up). I felt like he'd earned his toy (a.k.a. needed a little more motivation to keep working on it) so we headed off to Target to get him something. When we got there they were having a HUGE clearance on toys, so we got way more than I'd planned on for WAY CHEAP. We ended up picking up about $125.oo worth of toys for less than $60.00. It literally was like Christmas. Selfishly, it's fun to get to see my kids so excited about their new stuff more than once a year, and it keeps them very entertained for a few days :)Here's most of the loot.

It's all worth it just to see these happy faces.

Apparently the swing is lots of fun even if it's not hung up.
