Here is my mom reading their call.
They were called to The Democratic Republic of the Congo, Kinshasa Mission in AFRICA!!!!!! They report on Aug. 31st and will serve for 18 months. It's crazy! I think we're all still in a little shock, but I know they are going to love it, and are happy to know that the Lord has a specific part for them to play in the church there.

I didn't know they were going on a mission. I love that your mom couldn't really pronounce it very well and then at the end was the best, she seems a little in shock that they report August 31. That is only a couple months away! Crazy.
WOW! I wont lie, I would be a little (okay a lot) scared to go to the Congo! But how exciting, I am sure they will love it. Congrats to your parents.

My grandparents went on a mission to Kenya, Africa, and my grandma was very scared to go. But once they got there, they seriously loved it so much! The people there are SO humble and teachable, and my grandparents actually miss being there.
So that is exciting! Tell them they will have a wonderful time!
