Thanksgiving

This year it was our year to be with my family for Thanksgiving, but because Klint's sister Alyssa came down from BYU they came to the valley so she could see some of the siblings during her quick visit. We we able to get together with them for dinner and a little "dance party" on Wed. night which was fun. Alex snuggling Grandpa WebbJameson & Aunt Lyssa. Jameson thought that headset was the coolest thing. He wore it all night.Ranan & Alex teething away on a microphone and a lid.The dance party. Cassie and Lyssa might have been the most entertaining. :)

Then on Thurs. we started out the day with tradition, watching the Macy's Parade on tv (not as cool as Vanessa who got to go...I'm so jealous!), then we went over to my sister Emily's house to do the big dinner. It was so fun. Everyone was there except Ryan and fam (because they live in Utah. We missed you Jameson family) We ate kinda early and then we just hung out all day, boys played football, all played a little Wii, and the girls planned out strategy for the black Fri attack the next morning. It was very nice and relaxing and my boys had a blast playing with cousins. The many older girl cousins loved toting Alex all over and mothering him with lots of love, (which he was a trooper about for the most part,) and Jameson especially loves to follow Michael(10) and Chandler(9) around, and they were awesome to let him tag along all day. Of coarse the day was not without incident as Jameson did find a marker and draw all over his face with it, but of coarse I forgot to take a picture of that. Over all it was a great day. Thanks Stewarts for hosting a great party. I took more video than pics that day, but here are the few pics I took.
Jameson sporting Chandler's Little League stuff while trying to hang with the big boys.Amid the chaos of getting things ready Tatum crashed out before dinner was even ready.Harley "mothering" Alex who is almost as big as she is.
Then bright and early Fri morning we followed with another crazy tradition of Black Fri Shopping! (We sure missed you Linsey!) We had our plan of attack all ready and met at our first store at 4am!!! I know it's totally crazy, but I do it because this is the only day I shop all year, so I've gotta get the great deals. This year I even convinced Klint to hit one store to buy a TV, while I went with the girls and bought everything else. I'm proud to say that he didn't freak out as much as I thought he would, but he still thinks we're all crazy. After hitting just 3 stores we were done by about 7am and having breakfast, but it's amazing how much damage we can do with some good sales and a couple of hours.

The faithful/crazy shoppers Mom, Jennifer, Stacy & meThis is my car at the end, (not including what's in the trunk) and this is only my mom & my stuff. But we got great deals :)

Wow! It's a good thing you didn't need to fit kids into those car seats! :) Looks like you guys had a successful shopping trip... all while I was still in bed! I did the Black Friday thing last year, and this year i just couldn't do it again. It's not as much fun up here as it is in the valley.
I forgot to comment on the last post too, but that Alex just melts me! I never knew I would want to snuggle a vampire so much! :)

So glad that you finally documented the fun of Black Friday.
I'm glad we didn't give it up without Linsey to be our fearless leader. It was great fun!
