On Tues we took the kids to the USS Midway Air Craft Carrier Museum.
Here are my boys in the Brig
The boys loved all the different planes to look at.
They especially loved being able to climb into "real jets" and push all the buttons and fly the planes.
Alex was especially excited, even though it doesn't look like it through the cheesy smile.
The boys together in the cockpit. They were so small you could hardly see them once they got inside.
Flying a helicopter.
Alex wouldn't get out of anything until he had steered and pushed every single button.
Alex "Look at me lifting a bomb"
Inside a cargo plane. They loved this cause it had the back that lowered "just like the one Captain America jumped out of"
All of us on the flight deck
Ryan was such a trooper
but he was exhausted.
Since we were right on the beach we headed back there for a couple of hours before the sun went down.
Jameson played in the water & Alex got buckets of sand & water
carried them up by me in the tent
and made "muck soup" for hours.
I just loved seeing his little footprints in the sand as he ran back and forth.
Klint caught some more waves.
Then made one more sand castle for the waves to wash away before the sun started setting & we headed in for bed.
