I can hardly believe that it's been 6 whole months since this sweet little boy joined our family.
I don't usually put my kids well-check stats on here, but I just realized that I don't have any others to compare Ryan's to, so I'm going to put them. At his 6 mo. well check he weighed 16 lbs (20%) and was 25 3/4 inches tall (15%). He's getting bigger, but is still going down in percentile which isn't surprising for our family. Even though he's technically on the small side, we're just happy he's on the charts. He's not small for our family (Jameson only weighed 18lbs at a year and wasn't on the charts til age 2. Alex has always hovered around the 5%)
Ryan is our little chunkers, our sweet happy bear, our squishy ball of joy, a ray of sunshine in our life and he is growing up WAY too fast. We also call him our little "rolly poley" because he now rolls all over and has even started to army crawl a little bit. We have officially entered mobility. He's very anxious to be up and playing with his big brothers & they LOVE to play with him and make him smile and laugh. It doesn't take much to make him smile and laugh. All you have to do is look at him, smile at him, or talk to him and he'll give you a grin, then he'll immediately put his head down because he's recently become very bashful. He's started sitting up for a few minutes, but it usually doesn't last long because he usually wants to roll away to get something. He's only had 1 episode in the last month which is pretty amazing. He didn't even have one when he got his shots this time which has NEVER happened so I was thrilled. He's also becoming quite the jabberer these days and he only has one volume which is LOUD, but we still love it. We love you Ryan and are so glad you are part of our family. Happy half birthday little man!
