When we renewed our zoo membership this year we got 2 free passes to zoolights, but we weren't sure we were going to be able to get there because of my "take it easy" pregnancy restrictions. We had been waiting for a day where I hadn't had to be up much & we didn't have anything going on, but with holidays we weren't sure that day would ever come. Every time the boys would see signs or commercials for zoolights they would get so excited & beg to go, so the first week of Jan. we finally decided we'd better go. Once we got there Klint decided to rent a wheelchair, (I think because the pace of the walk from the parking lot was way too slow for him) & it turned out to be the best $10 we could have spent. The boys wanted to ride with me in the wheelchair so we moved through things pretty quickly between stops. It was fun & the boys loved everything about it. It's so fun to see them get so excited about things. Here are a few pictures I took.
Here's our fam. SRP was handing out these glasses that made the lights look crazy. The boys thought they were awesome.
This blue tree was right at the entrance & we loved it. It was huge & looked so cool all covered in blue lights.
We had to take a picture of our little Webbs with the big spider & web. They thought it was so cool.
The boys were excited that the zebras (a favorite) were out & very close so they got to see one "real" animal that night.
