In our old ward we made some great friends. Since we've been gone from that ward we've realized how truly unique it is. Because of the amount of apartments, townhomes, & codos that are in that ward its full of young couples & young families just starting out, & with how close it is to ASU, & MCC most people are going to school. That made it really easy for us to make friends because so many of us were going through similar situations as well as those who had already survived that phase & lived tell us there was life on the other side . Some of our very best friends in that ward were the Webb family (no relation). We always joke that we pretty much live identical lives. Not only did we get married & move into the ward within a few months of each other, we lived across the street. Amy & I both have blonde hair & were both finished w/school & working in our career, while our husbands were going to school to be a PA, & we then had both of our kids within 3 weeks of each other (except they had girls & we had boys). We confused more than one new member of the ward & lots of missionaries that served in our ward. Marcus was just accepted to PA school in Arkansas so they are moving this week. While we are so happy that they are able to head into that last step of schooling we are SO SAD to see them move so far away. Good luck other Webbs! We wish you the best, now hurry up and finish so you can move back :) Love you guys.

(PS. I forgot my camera so if any of you friends have any more pics from that night that you want to share I'd love to have them emailed to me. Thnx.)

Being in a student ward is definitely a unique place to be. Other friends that have moved away always say how must the miss being in the same boat as other families. It is really hard to see such great friends leave.
