On Thurs. we decided to meet my friend Meagan & her son Hudson at the zoo. It was so fun to get together. Since they moved to Maricopa we haven't been able to see each other very often. They boys had a great time with Hudson. We ended up meeting up for a little while with a bunch of girls from our old ward. It was a great to see everyone & for the boys to see all of their "old church friends". It was such a fun trip. Thanks for coming Meagan. Here are the pics.
The boys love watching the prarie dogs.
The boys were playing on this frog statue & Jameson & Hudson had a great time jumping around pretending they were frogs.
This was Hudson's first chance to see the new Comodo Dragon. They loved it. I think the life-sized statue they have by the exhibit is half the fun of the exhibit. The boys love to play on it.
We don't go to the petting zoo every time we go to the zoo, but since we had friends with us we decided we'd better go. They loved pestering the poor goats.
Alex loved brushing them, but he kept calling them "sheep"
The boys are very into everything farm since they see a lot of tractors & animals when we go to Snowflake. They love that they get the chance to play with the animals & drive the tractors when we go to that area of the zoo.
Alex insisted on driving the tractor even though the wheel was as big as he was.
They have these cute little wooden horses with saddles on them. The boys LOVE them.
Here's Jameson "walking" the horse while Alex rides it just like Daddy does when he takes the boys on Grandpa Webb's horses in Snowflake. Jameson wants to do everything Daddy does lately, it's too cute.
When we stopped for lunch there was this peacock that was trying to woo the female. It was so cool to see it with the feathers all spread out like that.
