We decided to take the kids to the Easter Pageant at the Mesa Temple last week. We feel like it's important for our kids to learn about why we celebrate Easter & they do well when it's entertaining rather than Mom & Dad talking AGAIN. The boys always enjoy the pageant, are very quiet during it, & surprisingly get more than I expect out of it. This year we found seats & settled in only to have Klint's sister Joele's daughter Kristina (14) sitting right behind us with her young women's group. We couldn't have planned it better. Jameson had a great time sitting with Kristina & her friend & I think they thought he was pretty cool too. He ended up sitting with them for almost the whole pageant. Before the pageant starts the actors walk through the crowd. Jameson thought the roman soldiers looked cool so we tracked one down & got a picture with him. He was the nicest "naught soldier" I've ever met. He was so sweet to Jameson & showed him his helmet & his whip that was part of his costume. Alex was the most excited that there were sheep in the pageant & every time the lights came up a different place he said "where da sheep?" It was cute. I'm always amazed at how much the boys understand each year. They always recognize when people are "being naught to Jesus". I'm glad they pick up on it.

Love the "naughty soldier". We will have to go together next year, even if there are crowds.
