This past weekend Klint took the boys on the Fathers & Sons camp out with our ward. It was Alex's first Father's & Sons and the first one for them in our new ward. They had a great trip & got to know some guys in the ward. There was one huge change though, and that was that it was at least twice the size of the ones in our last ward and there were TONS of boys. They had a great time. They got there kind of late so Klint gave them the glow sticks that I had sent (so it would be easier to keep track of them) & they had a great time playing with those for about an hour until everyone started to head off to bed. They decided not to worry about a tent with the short amount of time they were spending there so they crammed into the back of our Rodeo. Of course the boys thought it was so funny to be sleeping in the car they had to spend some time playing in it before bed. After about a half hour they finally settled for some of Daddy's silly stories before going to sleep. After a while they dozed off & Klint spent the night worrying about them being in their sleeping bags & warm enough all night. (nice that he takes a turn doing that for one night) The next morning they slept in a little (til 7:30). They had breakfast & then spent the rest of the day playing with friends & throwing rocks into the creek they were next to. The boys loved it & especially loved doing something special with Daddy & just the boys. Here are all the pics.
Boys love sticks!

Oh that is so sweet, what a great memory to have! And I LOVE LOVE your new family picture - you all look so great! What a cute family.
What a great thing for all of them.
And a good chance to get to know your new ward members. I'm not surprised at the first friend Jameson made was a big guy! So,Jameson! It doesn't seem so long ago that Dad was hauling the boys to Father's and Son's outings. It makes for wonderful memories. Thank Klint for being such a great Dad!
That is cool. I don't know if Matthew will ever get that chance to do the Father/Son campouts. First of all, we hardly ever hear about them and secondly Chris HATES camping. I thought it was funny with the sticks. Matthew always finds sticks and they are his sword. Yesterday we were at the park and a couple of Matthew's friends that are girls picked up a stick and said it was her magic wand. I thought it was really funny to see how different the genders are. I want to know what all you did while you didn't have anyone around?
So cute! Mark can't wait to take little D on his first campout :)
