Nothin' Big

Here are a few pics I just wanted to put in our family journal, so here they are.

Last Thurs. cousins Harley and Tatum came over to play for the day. Jameson had so much fun playing "tents" with them, watching movies, and having dance parties. Harley and Tatum are great little helpers with Alex. They love to try to carry him around even though he's as big as they are, and give him his "bottle" when he's sad. They are gonna be great little mothers someday. Here are a couple of pics of the kids playing "freeze dance".

We have been watching another niece "Baby Eva" since her mommy went back to work. The boys love her. They're very good about giving her her space, but they (especially Alex) spend lots of time just standing over her staring at her, and Jameson loves to show her all his "coo" stuff. Here's Jameson showing Baby Eva his new Batman watch and Daddy's "coo" Aquabats hat. I don't think she was all that impressed.

Both boys have had pink eye and not been feeling well. Alex has been especially sick which meant 3 trips to the doctor for him in less than a week. It's hard to see my happy little guy so NOT acting like himself. First it was pink eye, and now he has a fever and an ear infection. He's just walked around the house whining and crying all week. Then he'll come over to whoever and lay his head on your lap and want you to hold him, and sometimes he even falls asleep. Poor little guy has been miserable, but it's been kinda cute to have him so snugly.

One night they were both up feeling really sick. They both just needed a snuggle, but neither of them would go to Klint. Apparently only a Mama snuggle would do. As much as I hate to see them sick, I love it when only a Mama snuggle will do. It's a small moment of validation for all that I do for them.Here he's dozing off standing next to the chair I'm sitting in with his head on my leg. Poor baby.
