As I was looking at my blog today I noticed that I do A LOT more blogging during the cooler months of the year. Probably because I HATE the heat so much we pretty much become hermits after it starts hitting 100. So it's time to say our summer hellos and goodbyes.
Goodbye to...... oatmeal for breakfast, because it's already hot when we wake up.
Goodbye to........ our walks, because it's just too darn hot any time of day now.
Hello to......... very long tubbies both to get clean after being so sweaty, and for the cool entertainment and we can find in them.
Hello to.............. lounging around playing Leapsters in the air conditioning.
Hello to..........reading and re-reading every book we own at least once a day (thank you Alex).
Hello to.......playing with puppies and snuggling up to watch movies.
And last, but not least.......
Hello to our one regular venture outside....the splash park. We LOVE the splash park. Were it not such an ordeal to get everyone ready to go we would be there daily in the summer.

What a cute idea! I hate the summers too. Every year I tell Kameron its our last and that we have to move. haha. Yet still here we are. And I love the splash park, Meagan invited me and I wish I could have made it. But I am just not brave enough to take Anastyn outside for the day yet...and not to mention the while two kid thing. How long til I am brave enough to tow two kids everywhere? haha.
We are doing our hellos and goodbyes too, but in a totally opposite way. We can finally get outside without freezing to death!
We loved the splash park when we lived closer. I will gladly take the heat for the most AWESOME winters that we have here. I know I complain about them but I always think of winter, winter, winter:)
