Jameson is FINALLY feeling better. Unfortunately in the meantime Alex got sick and I got bronchitis, but I digress. After a week of Jameson having between 101-103 fever, x-rays, blood cultures and counts, and never wanting to do anything but have Mama hold him, he woke up today and put his shoes on first thing. That was it, we knew he was better. (I know weird huh, but if you know this kid you know his obsession with his shoes being on) He's back to his silly self again. This morning he wanted to watch Peter Pan. He broke out the pirate costume (that was supposed to be for next Halloween) and has been parading around the house as Captain Hook all morning and calling Alex "Mr. Sneeeeeed". Here he is with his best pirate face. "Arrrr"
Then he needed a snack. He wanted these snack peanut butter sandwich crackers I just bought. I handed him a pack and went on with what I was doing. I was really surprised a few mins later when he came in and said he said he wanted more. I figured I'd better check it out, and when I did, this is what I found.....
and entire package of peanut butter sandwich crackers licked clean of their peanut butter. Needless to say today's lesson for Mom is that when Jameson asks for peanut butter crackers, I should give him 1 cracker and his own jar of peanut butter. Hopefully when Alex wakes up he'll eat Jameson's leftover crackers :)

I'm so glad he's feeling better. The cracker story gave me a good laugh too! What a funny kid!... I mean... 'pirate' :)
We need to get these kids together! (plus I am in desperate need of some grown-up conversation) Are you guys coming any time soon? I wish we could come next weekend for Janay's baby shower, but we probably won't since we need to make a trip down there sometime in June. Let's hang out!
