Translating "Jameson-eese"
Lots of my friends have been putting things that their kids say on their blogs, so I thought I'd share this latest one because the story is kinda funny. A couple of weeks ago Jameson started with a new phrase which is "hurt mason". The first time I heard him say it was on a Sun, so naturally I thought he'd beat up on another boy in nursery named Mason and gotten in trouble and was just letting me know, but when I asked him if he'd hit Mason he said no. Then I noticed that he kept coming to tell me "hurt mason" all the time, so we thought maybe he was mispronouncing his own name or something. Well, we just figured out the true meaning. I was sitting in the same room with Jameson when he hit his head and he then came over and said "hurt mason". It hit me, (I know, I'm slow) he was actually trying to tell me "hurt myself". I asked him if that's what he was saying and he said yes. There you have it, the mystery is solved. So if my kid ever comes up to you and says "hurt mason" just know he means "hurt myself," and he just wants to have a pity party.

That is super funny. I love to see what other people's kids are saying. I'm sure Ashley will have a few funny sayings once she can put her words together! Hope all is well with you guys.
It is so funny how sometimes it takes us a while to figure out what our children are saying and then you feel so dumb when you finally figure it out. It think it is so fun when they start talking...most of the time.
Too cute. I am glad that I am not the only Mom who has trouble translating what their boy is saying.
Your kids are soooo cute!!
Congrats to Klint on a surviving the rotations! I would be happy to babysit for you when you need it. You are amazing!

I love trying to figure out what my kids are saying. Anna cant say her r's so she is the most fun! Once she kept saying something cheerleader..I could not figure out what she was saying for so long.
Poor Jameson... it's such a frustrating time for kids his age. I do love the new words and the way the figure them out.
It sounds like Jameson-eese is just as fun to figure out as Britt-ish! He kept telling me that he wanted to, "see Jaybins at poopade" and I was like, huh???? I finally figured out that he wanted to see Jameson at the parade! The moment you figure it out you feel like, DUH! How did I not get that!? :)
Side note: we're so bummed that we didn't get to see you guys more last weekend. Justin was EXHAUSTED and we did the typical "mom and dad" thing and just went home after the movie so we could go to bed. It's finally kicking in that we're an old married couple with almost 2 kids! We're SO not cool anymore! :) At least you and Klinto are in the same boat, although...you guys are way more fun than we are to hang out with. :)
What a great kid! I just love to see what he is going to say next.
