Ryan had surgery to put tubes in his ears on March 15th bright and early. He did great. They said he didn't just have fluid trapped in his ear, but a "glue-like junk" the doctor called "glue ear" that he had to suction out so it definitely needed to be done. Here are some pictures we took while trying to keep him entertained before he went back for surgery.
He's done really well and it's kinda turned him into a different kid. He makes all kinds of noise now, still doesn't say any words though, and laughs a lot more. He thinks everything is funny & is startled by a lot of stuff which is normal. It's crazy how much you can not realize how much they're missing.

Oh my goodness how sad but I am so glad that he was able to get them. It is so amazing to read this and try to understand what it would be like for him.
