My boys are getting really excited for their brother to get here. Tonight while we were hanging things in the baby's room they found a baby doll & were "practicing helping the baby". It was so cute. Here is Alex tucking "baby" into the cradle with a blanket.
Here they are buckling "baby" into the swing & testing it out. It's so fun to watch them get excited about having their "own baby".
Here is Ryan's room put together. This room is especially fun because the cradle, wooden toy cars on the wall, and the changing table were all made by my Grandpa (Karl Bird) who Ryan will share his middle name with.
After:
I still have to hang all the stuff on the walls (which will tie in the blue & green more), but they were pretty excited to finally have their room painted. Excited enough to show us some cool moves while I took pictures of them seeing the room.
And last this is for those of you who didn't know me when I was pregnant with my other boys & look at me like you don't believe me when I say I really did nothing different & still gained 65lbs with my first so I do, in fact, know what it's like to be huge even though I am not this time. It still freaks me out a little bit that there's such a difference, but I promise I have done nothing different. I've actually been much less active this pregnancy due to complications, than I was with Jameson's. Just goes to show you never know. Top is me with 4 wks to go when I was pregnant w/Jameson (ended up gaining 65lbs. notice I couldn't even wear regular clothes so I was out & about in pajamas.) Bottom is me with 4 wks to go this pregnancy.
