Who doesn't love a little shopping? We found out that at the Tuacahn Theater they do a great outdoor market, the weather was perfect so we headed up Sat morning. It's full of cute crafts, jewelry, snacks, etc. It was such a fun little place, and turned out to be a perfect place to get souvenirs for us and the kids. It was such a beautiful setting too.
Here's Derek, Scott & Klint goofing around with their advertisement for the next play, "The Little Mermaid".
Here's Klint & I doing a little "Grease".
The last thing we did was probably my favorite thing of the whole trip. Two of my aunts, Marilyn & JoAnn live in St. George as well as my cousin Kelly & her family. We all met up for a "little" BBQ. It had been a really long time since most of us had seen each other. It had been probably 15 years since we'd seen the cousins. we had fun talking, laughing, & telling stories. The best part was when we were all sitting around talking and my dad, Aunt Marilyn & Aunt JoAnn started talking about growing up. They were telling stories about things like when my dad was born & their family finally had a boy in their family. They talked about when their dad & sister died only 9 months apart, when JoAnn got married and eventually moved, & Keith & his influence on their family & his death, and my dad's leaving on a mission & his farewell. They were such great stories. Luckily I had my video camera so I got about 10 mins of video. I will cherish it forever.
Here's everyone that was at our little get together. (not in order) My parents & siblings & our spouses, Aunt JoAnn, her son Keith Strong & his daughter Emily & her hubby, and her daughter Kelly Thacker & hubby Roy & their daughters Malorie & her hubby, and Ashley & her hubby & children. It was so fun to all be together.
