Day at the Zoo

I can't believe I'm so behind. (Sorry Mom & Dad) Life has been very busy, but now begins the catch up. A week after Thanksgiving Stacy, Jenna and I took a trip to the zoo together. It was a perfect day & we figure we better enjoy the weather now. It was really fun, especially to have Eva there for one of her first visits. Here are a few cute pics I got while we were there.

There were lots of animals out. One that they aren't often able to see is the lion, but the female one was sitting on a rock that day so they could see it well. Here they are to have their picture taken with the lion. I love how each one is acting. It's so fitting. Jameson: are we done yet; Alex: I just want a drink; Isaac: I love the zoo; Trevor: I just want to see the lion; Eva: Why am I stuck with all these boys! They had almost as much fun playing on the statues of animals as they did seeing the real thing. Here they are all piled on the Komodo Dragon statue.
Here they are looking at the elephant. Here's a picture of my boys on another animal statue. Jameson got sick of waiting for Alex to look at the camera for a picture so he decided to help by holding his face for him. This was just way too funny. It totally looks like Jameson is trying to choke Alex, but he really was trying to hug him & saying "cheese". I couldn't have planned it better. We were cracking up. Here's Eva's first experience with the petting zoo. Jenna was helping her be gentle.
Alex was armed and ready to pet the goats. He means business when it comes to the petting zoo.Jameson made sure to pet each goat before we left.

It was such a fun trip. Thanks all for going with us.
