This year was our year to go to Snowflake to be with Klint's family for Christmas. We headed up on Christmas Eve. We found some snow about half way there and they boys were so excited! When Alex said "Mom, Can we PLEASE play in the snow" we couldn't resist. They had been talking about throwing snowballs for days. They had a great time throwing snowballs and we even build a tiny snowman and then had fun breaking it down. It only lasted a few minutes, but they had a great time, and it was so fun to watch. They quickly got really cold and were ready to be on our way to Grandma & Grandpa's again.
The boys throwing snowballs at Daddy.
Here's where Jameson turned on me while I was taking pictures.
Here are Daddy & the boys building our little snowman.
Here are the boys with our little snowman.
It was slightly a pathetic snowman, but it was fun.
We eventually made it to Snowflake in time for all the traditional Webb festivities. Here are the 3 grand kids that were there for Christmas all bundled up and ready to go for a ride to look at lights. The boys were so happy to have Baby Bentley to play with for Christmas. They sure will miss her when they move to Denver next week.
Here's everyone piling into Grandpa's trailer to go looking at lights. It was very cold, but always fun.
After we finished our ride we went back home where I made my family's traditional wassail & we let the boys open their presents from "The Phantom". This year it was new "How to Train Your Dragon" jammies. Here are the boys showing them off.
Here they are doing the dragon training poses.
Christmas morning we woke up to find they'd been good enough for Santa to come and they got just what they had wanted. It was so fun to see them so excited about it all. Here they are checking out their Santa piles.
They both got Kung Zhu's they wanted from Santa.
Alex got an electric drum set to practice playing the drums on. Nothing else mattered once he saw those. He couldn't wait to get them out of the package.
The drums were a favorite until he opened his present from cousin Tyler. Aunt Linsey had made a super-hero cape with an "A" on it for Alex & a mask. He immediately called in an Aquabat costume & wanted it on. It turned out to be his favorite thing of all. He wouldn't take it off for anything for days. Of course it was so cute we didn't mind.
Jameson got an Optimus Prime costume from his big cousin Chandler who had picked it out for Jameson and paid for it himself. Jameson was SO excited! He had to put it on right away and he wore it all day.
Jameson had asked Santa for a Bumblebee mask that talks and he delivered. Jameson had been wanting one for close to a year now. He was so excited. He enlisted Grandpa's help right away to get it out of the package.
I love how excited he is putting it on for the first time.
He looks adorable with that huge helmet on his little body & he loved it.
It was a hit with everyone else too. Daddy had to try it on.
Even Grandma gave it a try.
Alex was a little scared to try it on his head, so he decided to try it on his feet instead. He's such a silly little boy.
The rest of the day was filled with hanging out with family. Here are Alex & Bentley having a snuggle with Grandpa.
Klint's grandparents came over for a visit. We feel so blessed every chance we get to see them.
It was another great Christmas.
