We've had some very sad days this week. On Monday we received an email from Klint's dad telling us he'd had the vet out to check out their horse Snuffy because he'd been having some problems. The vet had determined that Snuffy had cancer & it was going to be very painful so they decided the most humane thing for Snuffy was to put him down. It's been devastating for the whole Webb family. Snuffy was the best horse there ever was. He originally belonged to Klint's Grandpa Layton who passed away a few years ago. He was one of his favorite horses. Once Grandpa Layton got too old to ride anymore he gave Snuffy to Klint's family. This is what they had from their Grandpa so I think that's made it a little extra hard. Klint always called Snuffy "his horse". I loved Snuffy and the boys loved him, and we all loved nothing more than riding him. When we first got married Klint and I would go riding almost every time we were in Snowflake. He always used to tell me that he'd "found a wife as stubborn as his horse", and he was right. Snuffy could always sense who was in charge. If he knew you were in charge, his Grandpa would say, "you could lead him right up a tree". If he thought he was in charge, watch out, you could end up heading off some other direction you didn't want to go or jumping a puddle cause he didn't want to walk through it. He was a great horse. I wanted to include a bunch of pics I've taken of Snuffy over the last couple of years.

glad you got lots of pictures-I started a post and realized i only have pictures of Chance!! We love and miss snuffy already! great post.
Aww...poor Snuffy! He was such a good and gentle horse. I'm glad we knew him. It's so hard to say goodbye to our furry family members. I hope Chance isn't too lonesome without Snuffy. :(
And the tears flow again...thank you for doing this-- he will be missed.
