Our little "ninja"
Jameson has been really wanting to get into a sport of some kind. I thought it wasn't a bad idea, but they're hard to find for kids his age. We tried a soccer class through the city, but it was pretty lame & he didn't love it. He's been playing "ninja" for a while now, so we thought some kind of martial arts might be a good thing for him. We found a class that's not too expensive & he had his first class on Tues night. He LOVED IT! We got to watch a little while we were signing him up & he did awesome. He was so focused and trying so hard to do everything just right. It was so cute. Not to mention he's such a tiny little thing out there compared to everyone else. When I picked him up he jumped in the car and asked when he "could go back and learn some more stuff". He couldn't wait to put on his new karate outfit and show us his moves. It was pretty much adorable. He even got a little ribbon the first day. The teacher was asking questions & the kids who got the right answer got a ribbon. Jameson never actually got called on, but he raised his hand every time. As he was leaving he asked the teacher for a ribbon. The teacher said "you're my littlest guy so you can have one". Jameson was thrilled and came right home and put it on the fridge. It's been adorable to watch him doing "ninja moves" all the time. I think this might be really good for him. Here are some pics of him "practicing" which only included a couple things he's actually learned so far.

That is the most adorable thing I've ever seen. He's so intense and has the real NINJA look. It makes me smile every time I look at him.
