Annual Trip to the Tumbleweed Tree

It's that time of year again. We finally got around to really getting the Christmas season started by our annual trip to the Tumbleweed Christmas Tree in downtown Chandler. That is where Klint & I got engaged 6 years ago on Dec 2nd. When we got engaged we decided it would be fun to go back each year and take a picture so we could see how our family changed over the years. It's become a very fun tradition. Here are this year's pics.
This year Santa was there, so we decided to try having them sit on Santa's lap & tell him what they wanted for Christmas. They did really well. Jameson was so excited. He jumped right up on Santa's lap and told him he wanted "a big Bumblebee" (that's the Transformer, and also a new request, yikes!). Then we put Alex up there, and he didn't cry, but he certainly wasn't sure about the big guy in in the funny clothes. We were on our way home when out of the blue Jameson said, "Oh man! We forgot to see Santa's reindeer." It was so adorable! So we decided to come home & make the boys into our own little reindeer. I must say I think they're much cuter than the real thing.

What a great thing that you've kept this tradition. We're so proud of Jameson to be so brave already. It's cute that Alex didn't cry too. Thanks for sharing the pictures. We are so glad to share it with you.

I love their little reindeer antlers!
That's so neat that you got engaged around Christmastime. How romantic:)

I always look forward to seeing your pictures from the Tumbleweed Tree! That's the coolest tradition. It'll be so cool to look back at all the pictures in 20 years and see how your family grows and changes with each year. :)
