We had a great low key Thanksgiving this year. We started out spending the morning watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade & then the Dog Show while I cooked my pies and side dishes that I was assigned for the big "feast".
Here are my boys watching the parade. Even Ryan spent some time watching it.
Then Ryan hung with me in the kitchen for a while.
In the afternoon we headed to my sister Emily's house for a fabulous meal & many hours of fun hanging out with the family. We were able to talk to my parents on Skype and my Dad even said the prayer for the meal in French over Skype. It sure made us thankful for Skype & also that they will be home next Thanksgiving.
We took this picture of all of the grand kids that were there just before we ate. (We are just missing the Utah Jamesons who we miss a little extra on holidays.) We are thankful for this good looking bunch.
