We celebrated Halloween this year with ward parties, school parties, and LOTS of costume wearing just cause Halloween was coming. Here's a little "sum up" of Halloween this year.
The boys were obsessed with decorating for Halloween this year. Since I'm too cheap to buy any. I made this out of paper and foam board & they were thrilled. (Thank Heavens cause that's all the crafting I could handle)
This year Jameson was Darth Vader. He loved it & as expected wore it any chance he could.
They had a little Halloween party in his Kindergarten class on Halloween where the kids all got to wear their costumes & do some fun stuff. He had such a great time. Jameson was so excited that 2 friends in his class were also Darth Vader. His teacher sent me this cute pic of her little Darth Vaders. As expected, Jameson took it very seriously.
When we asked Alex what he wanted to be his exact words were "Ricky Fitness!" Ricky Fitness is the drummer of the band the Aquabats so after being really sure that's what he wanted I agreed to put a little Aquabat costume together. He was SO excited & litterally wore it all day every day from the time I got it done til Halloween. I have to say he was the cutest little "Ricky Fitness Aquabat" I've ever seen.
He had a little Halloween Party at Preschool which he thought was SUPER fun. He thought it was so awesome to see all of his friends dressed up. Here's a pic of the class all dressed up

Of course after wearing his Aquabat costume for weeks & all day on Halloween, Alex decided, about 15 mins before we left to go trick or treating, that he didn't want to be an Aquabat anymore & went and put on the Iron Man costume from the dress ups. That is one of the reasons I never spend more than $5 or $10 on costumes & I usually just buy them on clearance after Halloween & put them in the dress ups. He did make a cute little Iron Man though.
Here are the boys just as we went out for trick or treating. They sure had fun and got WAY too much candy.
