I've had rough weeks, but this one has been more unbelievable than anything. It started out with the same old thing. The boys and I got sick with colds, not fun, but not the end of the world either. Then, while outside enjoying some nice weather my phone fell out of my pocket & within about half an hour (when I realized it was gone) some one had taken it from the grass right in front of our house. After calling & texting it all night and even offering a reward to get it back some one finally turned it off, so we knew for sure some one had it. After waiting a day for some one to do the right thing I finally had to get a new phone. Bummer. (My calendar was in my phone too, so I'm totally lost. If I missed something I was supposed to do I'm sorry.) Then, Sat some one called because they wanted the reward money we had offered. They did admit to having had the phone the whole time. When we said we weren't offering the money anymore because we had already replace the phone they were mad so we were pretty sure we'd never get it back, and we were right. Then, to really top things off tonight Klint came home from work to find that some one had graffitied our car with a permanent marker. Of course I had just washed it today. I couldn't even be that mad. I'm just totally stunned. Let's just say we're definitely ready to move. Here's my poor little car.
Thanks to our handy Mr. Clean Magic Eraser we were able to get it off. All in all, we still feel very blessed, especially not to have to repaint our car.

I cannot believe that!!! So sad. I didn't know Klint went on that hike...Drew was just about to go- I bet he would have gone had he known Klint went. Maybe next time.
That totally stinks! I hate how dishonest and horrible people can be. I am shocked what they did to your car! There are houses out here by us. Come and move to the chosen country:) ha ha
So fun to see all your blogs this week. Now you can do your own, instead of mine. I'm so sorry about your phone and your car. But glad you got it all straightened out. Love that magic sponge!
Loved the fun family trip to the game too. It reminded us of our trip with you on the light rail. Such a good memory. Thanks! You are so good at enjoying your boys, and we are glad Klint had a good hike and made it home OK. Was't it on a recent hike that Richard didn't make it home OK?
Love reading your blog and seeing the family. Keep writing. We love it.
Wow...that's a bad week. It will be so nice when you can move.
Oh my gosh! that is horrible! I can't believe anyone would really do that to your car. I'm sorry
I can't believe that!! I am so sorry Corrine. You should just move out to Maricopa and play with us all the time :-) We definately need to hang out again soon!
Ugg...sounds like one of those weeks...the ones where you are glad that it's over!
Kuddos to Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.
Please tell me that you called the police before you washed it! They are keeping a track of all the little graffiti artists in the area and have most of them on file. One of the kids had to pay a $2,000 fine for his 3rd offence, and I haven't seen him (or his signature) since.
We live in the ghetto, it's sad that these kids are "gang-wannabes". But according to the police we don't have any gangs in the immediate area.
Holy cow, CJ, that's terrible! I'm so sorry that happened to you - it totally gave me the creeps that someone could be that lame!
That is SO frustrating! I'm sorry that happened to you!
what kind of person does that?
i'll tell you, someone who needs a swift punch in the nose.
I'm so sorry. It sounds like a really rough week!
Oh my goodness!! I am so sorry girl!! I can't believe that! Come move to Gilbert with us!!
Oh my gosh Corrine! How horrible!! What a poop head!!
That is so crazy. Seriously... who does that? I can understand tagging a wall, a bridge, or a building or something like that. That is just ridiculous. I wonder if the person who found your phone was mad and wanted to "show you." :(
Ugh!! It was probably my stupid neighbors :) So sorry!!
That is horrible! I am so sorry. That is a good tip on the magic eraser! I'll have to get me one of those! Where do you live?
that is horrible! Seriously who would do that. Well I am glad you got it off. thanks for coming on sunday!
Some times it makes me wonder to what extent people become desperate to hurt the lives of others or rather be a disgrace to the lives of others. It saddens me, because I feel its those who have no respect for mankind...or to themselves. In reality, its that they are lacking the gift of the gospel in their lives that soften their hearts. I wonder if the person that took your phone, made the mess to your car out of revenge of not receiving the reward offered for the return of your phone. Interesting!
I love MAGIC ERASERS! They are my life saver!
When we lived in that area but around the corner on Santa Barbara. Jason car got it windows busted twice and my car had gottin attacked by eggs then another time when I walked outside I noicted I was missing two wheels and the left front tire was deflated AND my car still had the jacks under it.
