(you can't tell, but it's actually a mixture of rain and hail. we could hardly see)
We decided to check it out anyway hoping it had bypassed the camp, and we were glad we did because when they got there they said they'd just had a few sprinkles earlier which was just enough to cool it down. It was such a fun camp out complete with lots of friends, dirt, and junk food. We went on a hike as soon as we got there with those who came up early. We didn't take time to change our shoes or anything so just a little ways in we decided between the shoes and having to carry one certain chubby individual we'd just hang out at the bottom instead of going all the way to the top of the waterfall. It was so beautiful.

This is where we gave up, but it was still beautiful. We decided to check it out anyway hoping it had bypassed the camp, and we were glad we did because when they got there they said they'd just had a few sprinkles earlier which was just enough to cool it down. Then it was back to camp where lots more people showed up later. It was a great camp out.
Here is Diana keeping Alex much happier than I could. She eventually even got him to sleep. Thanks for the help so I could be sure Jameson wasn't running away in the underbrush. He has no fear of being alone in the wilderness. I wonder where he gets that from ;)
