Families are Forever
This week I've been especially grateful for the opportunity to be with my family for eternity. It's been an interesting week that's made me reflect on that promise a lot, and gain a greater appreciation for it. My 28 year old cousin suddenly died this week, leaving behind a pregnant wife and a daughter about Jameson's age. It's been a very difficult thing for my extended family to deal with, but the pain is lessened by the knowledge that we know that we will have the chance to live with him again. It's such a blessing to know that he will be with his wife, children, parents, siblings, and all of us again. I am so grateful for the Savior for giving us that opportunity, and for a Heavenly Father who has this plan of happiness for us. As father's day came and went it made me especially grateful for the dad's in my life. My dad who is such a great example and such a loving father to all of us "yahoos", Grandpa Bird for keeping us all in line, and being such a great supporter of all of us, Klint's Dad (Keith), for being a wonderful example and teaching us all a lot of things us "city kids" wouldn't otherwise learn. (I couldn't have asked for better grandpas for my kids.) And of coarse, Klint for being such a great dad to my boys. It's fun to see him really enjoy the times he gets to just have fun and enjoy the boys and see how much they love and enjoy him. Thanks for being such a great dad! I love you and am so glad I get all these dad's for eternity. I couldn't have asked for better ones to be my forever family. I'm so grateful to know that families are forever.

You sum it up perfectly! You are surrounded by some of the greats! What a beautiful legacy to leave for your boys. We're blessed to be a part of it all. :)
Man, so sad for your cousin. I hope his wife will be okay...I just can't even imagine!
Aren't we blessed! What great men we have in our lives...what great examples for my boys!
What a great perspective. I was so grateful to be there with Dad on Sunday during David's viewing. It was so hard to see his family and friends mourning his loss, but there was also such a remarkable show of support for a family that has meant alot to that area over the years.
