Great-Grandpa Bird
I'm so blessed to have been able to have such a close relationship with my grandpa throughout my life. I'm so glad my kids are able to spend time with him so they can get to know him too. At 89 he's always amazing us with his energy and all the things he's doing, from going to the gym and bowling, to teaching his primary class. The boys love to go see Grandpa Bird and he loves the little kids, but he always wants to be sure they're heads won't fall off before he holds them. He finally held Alex this weekend. He was so cute with him. I love Grandpa Bird. He's the greatest man I've ever met. (Sorry Klint, no one will live up to him) Thanks for all you do for us! We love you Grandpa!

It's so cool to see our grandparents (and great-grandparents)enjoying their posterity... I guess that old saying is true, "grandkids are the reward you get for putting up with your own kids." :)
Those are great pictures. We also feel blessed that our kids have had such great opportunities to build such a close relationship with one of the greatest men who ever lived :)
Glad to know that the boys are getting to enjoy time with their Grandpa Bird. It is such a gift when they can know their great grandparents. Enjoy every minute cuz the time goes way to fast!
