Broadway Kids

This past week Jameson & Alex were a part of a week long camp called Broadway Kids. They went every morning & learned songs & dances & then had their "big performance" at the end of the week. Here are the pictures from the show. Here are my cute boys just before the show started.
Here are a bunch of action shots

Alex's group sang Follow the Yellow Brick Road
Alex didn't want a solo, but LOVED doing the actions, especially the marching on this song.

Jameson's group did Singin in the Rain
Jameson & cousin Dylan were in the same group which made it even more fun for them & because they're kinda on the shorter side they were right next to each other most of the time.

Alex's group also sang "Gary Indiana". They were supposed to wear these hats, but Alex doesn't really like hats so he refused to wear it in rehearsals all week. After the last rehearsal I was talking to him about doing everything his teacher asked & he said "Mom, do I even have to wear the dumb hat?" How he said it was so cute & couldn't help but giggle which got us all giggling. Alex thought it was so funny that he said if we would call it "the dumb hat" he would wear it, so it was lovingly referred to by our family as "The Dumb Hat Song".
He sure looked cute in "the dumb hat".
Jameson's group doing Life is a Highway

Jameson & Alex' groups joined together to sing "Surfin' USA" which was a favorite for them.

The Grande Finale was "God Bless the USA"

Then they did a cute little curtain call
Even teachers got in on the curtain call. My sis Jen was one of the teachers & the boys loved having her as a teacher.
They did such a great job we had to stop for a treat on the way home.
I was so proud of my little performers.

I can't even explain to you how much we loved seeing the videos of your boys in Broadway kids and seeing them together and with Dylan so often. It was just a highlight of the year. thanks so much for sending them.
