So I got tagged by my friend Emily & I guess I'm supposed to tell our dating/engagement story. I've never done this before, but since nothing else very interesting has been happening lately I figured I do it. It's kind of a long story, with a lot of long stories involved, but here goes the Reader's Digest version!

Klint and I met in Feb of 2003. We met at "Wed. night bowling" (LDS kids going to this cheap bowling alley on Wed. nights.) I was religious about going, but never bowled because I'm so incredibley bad at it. I just went to hang out with people. Anyway, I was there hanging out with my best friend at the time Rob (Blue Screen). Klint had just moved down from Snowflake and was bowling with Rob (they knew each other from high school). We kinda joked around about the fact that he looked 12 (that's a whole story of it's own). I'd just kinda ended a thing with some one else (who ended up being a cousin of Klint's) and he was dating some one so neither of us gave the other a second thought. We continued to bump into each other here and there. He later moved in with my friend Rob and I was always hanging out there. There would be a lot of people hanging out there and they'd all decide to go do something, and being the lazy folks we were Klint and I would just stay at the house and watch a movie or something. This eventually led us to becoming best friends, which we were for about 6 months. Pretty soon everyone started to assume we were dating becuase we were together all the time, and everyone was bugging us about it so I finally asked if he thought we should try dating or maybe we should hang out less so people didn't think we were dating. He said he wasn't sure about dating so I thought we were just gonna be friends. He called the next morning and, long story short, hand changed his mind on that, so we started dating Conference weekend Oct. 2003. We decided to get married Nov. 1st and officially got engaged Dec. 2nd, 2003. At Thanksgiving that year he had heard a story about his grandma having to have a Christmas tree made out of tumbleweeds when she was little. When he got home he found out there was an actual Tumbleweed Christmas tree in Downtown Chandler. He took me there & proposed to me. (We now go back every year and take a picture there. It's become a family tradition.) We were married in the Mesa Temple on March 11, 2004.
This isn't a great picture but this was the tumbleweed tree this year.
So now I tag Kimmie, Whitney, and Ashley.

Sweet tale!! So glad he found ya:)
That was fun. I have heard the story before but it was fun to read it again because I had forgotten. However, when I read Bluescrean I just had to laugh.
How fun! I remember all those steps...and I will admit, I was one of those wondering whether you two were actually dating or not. haha. But I didnt know that you had officially started dating that conference weekend. I was in the hospital that week and I remember you and Klint came and visited me and my mom said that you guys made a cute couple and I told her you guys werent dating. haha. Then you turned around and got married. Good times.
What a story! I had forgotten all about 'blue screen.' :) I remember meeting you in September of 2003 at Undici (or whatever) when Rob and Justin were playing, and thinking, she and Klint would sure make a cute couple... :) and why have we never been bowling together?? I could teach you a thing or two, my mom was a state champ in high school.
AHHH,,SOO SWEET...WHAT COUSIN OF MINE DID YOU DATE? :)
